Aquila M. is a fiction writer and essayist. Originally from the glass and concrete jungle known as Toronto, they now write from deep within the Canadian countryside in a town by a river that never stops flowing. This is their portfolio showcasing long form articles and original short fiction.

They specialize in horror, dark fantasy, and media criticism with an emphasis on queer themes. Some of their work may include trangressive and triggering topics such as body horror, gore, toxic relationships, and explicit content. They're influenced by folklore, gothicism, cosmic horror, and their own nostalgia for the 1990s.
